We’ve all heard the saying that a bad day at the beach is better than a good day at work.  What we did not know was that the beach has magical healing powers.

We witnessed this power first hand when the subject of a case was involved in a slip and fall at his place of employment.  He claimed that he sustained severe injuries to his neck, left arm and left hand.  We documented his activity on a day when he visited his attorney.

That meeting must have been pretty physical, because the following day, he was wearing a sling.  Of course, next time, someone should show him how to wear the sling PROPERLY.

 Well, apparently, his doctor and/or attorney prescribed a trip to the beach to heal his injuries and it must have worked.  Before he leaves the house you can see him treating the left arm very gingerly.  Not much movement at all.  He can’t even carry anything in the left hand.

The healing properties of the beach took effect as soon as he arrived, because, miraculously, he could now bend the arm past the 90-degree angle that was maintained at the house.  The healing properties also gave him the strength to carry his beach chair with the injured arm.  Suntan lotion also seems to have not been a problem.
